Singled Out for Christ Ministry Vision:

“Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalms 37:4-5 The unmarried Christian can devote themselves with all their gifts to the Lord, free from care, totally occupied with the Lord and His Word.


Mission Statement: 

To provide spiritual and emotional support to single members of College Hill COGIC through the means of collectively dedicating our lives to Christ.


Philosophy:

As stated in 1 Corinthians 7: 32-35; “Singled Out for Christ” believes that we should use the time of “singleness” to develop healthy and strong relationships with Christ, using our current state as an opportunity to commit our service to God.


Objectives:

•To provide a loving, safe and supportive environment for singles, no matter what age whether divorced, widow, single parent or single by choice.

•A support group to comfort single members through crisis such as illness, death, or divorce.

•To be a support system to the high school/college aged single members.

•To help members accept their place in the body of Christ and to recognize singleness as an acceptable life-style.

•To cultivate spiritual growth, to integrate members into the total church by using their gifts and talents, and to solidify their place in the body of Christ. Activities and Services: 

•Fellowship Outings: Christian Skating Dinner Fellowship Church Luncheons/Vacations/Adventures

•Service: Visiting the Sick and Shut- in/Nursing Home Visits/Volunteer Programs

•Education: Monthly Meetings/Guest Speakers/Attend Seminars/Forums Biblical Materials/Lessons DEVOTION READINGS: Single Servings: Author Lee Warren
