Elder Donald F. Jorden Sr.

Pastor

Elder Donald F. Jorden Sr. grew up in Wimauma, Florida, the ninth of ten children to Missionary Mother Ola May and Brother Charles Jorden. After graduating from East Bay High School, he joined the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, where he has served faithfully for over 30 years as a deputy, chaplain, and peer support leader.

He gave his life to Christ in 1986 at Palm River C.O.G.I.C. and was ordained in 1999 under Bishop Matthew Williams. In 1994, he married the love of his life, Sister Ta-Tanisha Miller, and together they have been blessed with six children and two grandchildren. In 2011, Elder and Sister Jorden founded the Ministries of Reconciliation, a missions church that brought many souls to Christ.

Elder Jorden has served in multiple leadership roles including Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor at College Hill C.O.G.I.C., District Sunday School Superintendent, Jurisdictional Finance Department Treasurer, and member of the National Adjutant Corps and Security Task Force. Above all, Elder Jorden is a servant leader, devoted to God, family, and community.

Lady Ta-Tanisha Jorden

First Lady

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida Lady Ta-Tanisha Jorden is the eldest of two

daughters born to Miss Frances Miller. She has been educated in Hillsborough County

schools and attended Hillsborough Community College and The University of South

Florida. Ta-Tanisha and Donald met in 1994 via a mutual friend. Two years after

meeting, they were married and settled in their first home. Two years later began the

wonderful journey of parenthood. They are the proud parents of 6 amazing young

people. A passion that spawned from their marriage has been marriage counseling

services that they have offered to couples in hopes to restore fractured relationships

and mentor couples in need before and during the marriage journey. She currently

works at the College Hill COGIC Preschool where she can share her passion for

learning and love for young children. When she is not working, she enjoys passionately

cheering on her two youngest sons as they compete in various sports. She also

enjoys ministering with the music department and traveling with her family.
